Feasibility study on clinical application of newly obtained findings in basic research was categorized by a US scientist, Dr. Pinedo, as translational study, known as a phrase " from bench to bed". This concept of translational research became widespread also in Japan, where three sectors, academia- government-industry, are collaborating each other mainly by governmental funds. However, it seems evident that ongoing organizational reform in universities and reinforced financial and legal support by the government are necessary but not sufficient for generation of numerous promising projects without involvement of an enough number of industries with a high quality of translational research taskforce. Furthermore the concept is applied not only to development of new therapeutics but to other biotechnology fields. We are convinced of the important role of ventures as a supplier of innovative technologies in the framework of the above mentioned three sectors.

Through our broad network we intend to introduce such new, innovative and superior Bio-Technology from USA and Europe to Japanese industries. Also through our network we would introduce only screened one.

Message from CEO

In the field of pharmaceutical and medical device/equipment, the development of novel and innovative technology by ventures in USA and Europe is active. The history of venture derived from academia, the existance of big sponsors including fund, shorter period in the process of commercialization and so on are the reasons, we think. As far as such situation remain unchanged, such tendency may continue and importation of foreign technology in this field will be still vital.

Under the above observation, we are sometimes required by Japanese Bio-Industries to introduce new, innovative and superior foreign Bio-Technology.
Though our activity is very limited, we have decided to organize new company in this field in order to support Japanese Bio-Industries more speedy and in a specialized manner.
